CNA with Nurse Delegation – NOC Shift (Pediatrics)
Experienced CNA with Nurse Delegation (Per Diem) – NOC & Weekends
Pediatric Group Home | Spokane
At Ashley House NW, our Spokane pediatric group home exists for one clear purpose: to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to medically fragile children and teens in a home-like setting—while supporting families, building trust, and nurturing each individual’s development.
We are seeking an Experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAC) with current Nurse Delegation credentials who is available for night shifts (5:45 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekend coverage. This role is ideal for a CNA who is clinically confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with delegated nursing tasks under RN supervision.
Our CNAs are essential members of the clinical team. You will provide direct, hands-on care while ensuring safety, dignity, and continuity of care throughout overnight and weekend shifts. At Ashley House, our residents are whole human beings—not diagnoses—and the quality of your presence matters as much as your skill.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care to medically fragile pediatric residents
Perform delegated nursing tasks in accordance with Washington State Nurse Delegation laws and RN oversight
Support medication administration and treatments as delegated
Monitor residents throughout the NOC shift and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, consistent care
Support a calm, structured overnight environment
Required Qualifications
Active Washington State Nursing Assistant–Certified (NAC) credential
Current Nurse Delegation certification (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
21 years of age or older
Current BLS CPR certification
Valid Washington State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
Compliance with required immunizations and annual TB screening
Ability to pass Washington State and FBI fingerprint background checks
Preferred
Experience working with medically fragile or complex pediatric populations
Previous NOC shift experience
Weekend availability
Schedule Expectations
Primary need: Night shifts (5:45 PM – 6:00 AM)
Weekend availability strongly preferred
Ability to complete at least two weekday training shifts during onboarding
Because we operate as a small pediatric group home, scheduling needs may fluctuate. Staff with consistent NOC and weekend availability are most likely to receive additional shift opportunities.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $25.89 to $38.47 per hour, in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and wage scale, based on prior CNA & NAR experience and location.
