Behavior Technician (Spokane)

As a Behavior Technician, you will play an essential role in enriching the lives of our medically fragile clients by creating meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences that support each child’s individual needs.
The Behavioral Technician-is responsible for enriching and supporting cultural, social and emotional growth, and stages of development for Ashley House’s clients. Responsibilities include: Performing crafts and activities with children, in alignment with their care plans; Ensuring children play safely with other children; Implementing Behavior Plans; Assisting with meal planning and preparation; Completing household chores; Assisting with client outings; and, Participating in the implementation of the predetermined Plan Of Care and Behavior Plan activities.
Minimum Requirements Include:
· A High School Diploma or equivalent
· At least 21 years of age
· 1+ year of experience working with youth, or 2+ years of education in social services
· Valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record
· The ability to pass and maintain an approved criminal background clearance with the State of Washington and the FBI fingerprint-based background;
· Willingness to obtain and maintain required vaccinations, including COVID-19, Flu, TB, TDAP
Schedule: This is a Part-Time set schedule working Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm-10:00pm (32hr/week)
Our part-time Behavior Technician position comes market competitive compensation, including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Dis., HRA., Matching 403b7, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Extended Illness Leave. Salary: $21.48 - $31.91 per hour.
