Nurse Manager- Educator (Shoreline)

Bridges to Home - In partnership and cooperation with Seattle Children’s Hospital, Ashley House NW has opened a 15-bed pediatric skilled nursing facility, located in Shoreline Washington. This is the first and only such facility in Washington State.

Ashley House is currently seeking a full-time Nurse Manager- Educator for our Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility in Shoreline.

This position is an integral Clinical team member and reports to the Director of Nursing Services. This position primarily focuses on administrative functions, provision and quality assurance of Nursing Care, personnel management, staff development, and infection control.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning and implementing facility orientations; Training staff on position-specific skills; Hiring staff; Evaluating staff performance; Tracking of education and employee health records in coordination with the HR Department; Assisting with admitting patients; Supervising staff; Educating client families; and Assisting with staff scheduling as needed.

Requirements

A Registered Nurse (RN), valid to work in WA state.

At least two years of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare-related facility

Direct supervisory experience is preferred, not required.

Participate in on-call rotations

Ability to pass and maintain an acceptable criminal background check with the State of Washington, including personal references and an FBI fingerprint criminal history check;

Annual acceptable driving record, insurance, and a Valid WA State Driver License

Proof of a valid Tdap, Flu, and TB, & COVID immunizations

Proof of a valid Healthcare Provider (BLS) CPR & Food Handlers Permit

Experience with multiple nursing and medical tools, services, and equipment used to provide direct individual care

Pay: $109,116.00-$158,620.00 per year DOE.
